Armada Avenue Hotel, Dubai

The hotel room was decently sized but not very clean and seemed more suitable for a single guest. The service was a mix of courteous and accommodating staff but also lacked attention to details like cleaning and offering transportation. The location had its downsides with constant loud music and being on the wrong side of the road, but it was close to popular areas like JBR, Dubai Marina, and Jumeirah, making it convenient for exploring. The dining experience was average with limited variety but had some positive aspects like a dedicated egg station and plenty of pastries. Facilities were sufficient but nothing extraordinary.

The hotel rooms were quite spacious and clean with expected amenities, but lacked the balcony I thought I had booked. The service was accommodating, willing to make changes until we were satisfied, although the language barrier and lack of ambiance at the pool bar were noticeable. The location was great near the metro, but being away from downtown had its drawbacks. The dining experience left more to be desired, especially in variety, despite the pleasant desserts. Overall, a mixed experience with positive and negative aspects.

The hotel may have some drawbacks like ongoing drilling activities above our room, but the rooms are not too big yet comfortable. I appreciated the free upgrade to a junior suite without extra charge. The staff, after some initial hiccups, proved to be extremely courteous and well-behaved, especially the Filipina receptionist.

My stay at the hotel was quite good overall. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, but could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness. The service was mostly on point, but there were some issues with finalizing payment which left me waiting unnecessarily. The location was decent, convenient for many places, but the constant loud music from a nearby fitness festival was bothersome. The dining experience was satisfactory with good omelettes, but the prohibition on bringing outside food was a downside. Facilities were adequate but nothing extraordinary.

The hotel has some positives like helpful and nice service and a good location near many restaurants, but the rooms are in need of a refurbishment and feel quite old-fashioned.
